Wasted Days and Wasted Senate

With the worst and most negligent Senate in US history, coming to a
complete standstill while the pigs run back to try to mark their place
in the coming feed trough of public taxes, one thing is worth their time and effort. It must be a biggie, don't you think?

Maybe they're finally investigating all the reports of theft, deceit, treason, and corruption in the Bush administration. Or, maybe they're finally re-convening their House Ethics Committee that the Republicans have boycotted for years. Or, maybe they're addressing the price gouging by the oil companies. No! They're busy condemning a news agency for reminding America of the illegal nature of Bush's spying.

No time to try to fix what's wrong, but plenty of time to make things worse. The only chance America has to ever recover its freedoms is to evict the corrupt Republican party in its entirety in the November elections.

Now, let's just hope that the elections aren't postponed until the end of the unending war with the nebulous "terrorists" who have no finite description in Bush's universe. It's war till the end of time, or until the end of America's experiment with stupidity in the White House.

Wow! Do our representatives really think that it's in America's best interest to spend their time on such nonsense? Of course not!
